Week of May 24
  • We are painting on Tuesday. Be sure students wear clothes they can get paint on Tuesday.
    • Spelling
    • Math: Volume
    • Social Studies: Japan and her cultural influences
    • Science: Electricity and Weather 
    • Grammar: Writing about Japan
    • Reading
    • Handwriting Packet:  
    • *5 points from any type of book on your level.You need to score at least 70% on the tests you take.
    • *One of the books you read must be a chapter book.The last day to *take AR tests for the final 6 weeks is Friday, May 14th
    • be sure your child is reading every night for at least 15 minutes. All students have library books from school and they should be reading every night.
  • Please get a set of multiplication flash cards to help your child practice their facts for ten minutes every day.
  • any work not finished in school each day should be coming home for homework. This includes handwriting assignments. Please ask your child if he/ she has any left over work they didn't finish during the day. Also please ask if they have any assignments to redo. If a student failed an assignment he/she will be expected to correct and return for more credit.
